According to the stipulations of Chinese government, in case the foreign expert has finished his work in one host institution and is employed by
another institution, the former Foreign Expert Certificate will become invalid and shall be returned to the former host institution. The new host institution shall handle new certificate for the
expert. |

Residency Permits are only issued to foreigners whose employment or expert services have been engaged by a government authorized
employer of foreign nationals and the Residency Permit is specific to that employment. If a foreign expert leaves the employment of the authorized employer within the currency of the
permit, but without the consent of the employer, he or she may remain in China but cannot engage in any paid or salaried employment. |
